I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. From horses to spiders, many different animals have made an impact on my life. I grew up working with dogs and horses. quickly realizing there were better ways to communicate with them than the traditional methods used that so often require fear or force. This realization made me want to learn everything I could about animal behavior. I spent time working as a vet tech and also as an assistant to a dog behaviorist. Both jobs required me to do house calls for a lot of animals with behavioral issues. Through those opportunities, I gained more knowledge of animal behavior and communication. But after gaining experience in the grooming industry, I knew where I wanted to be. I believe the grooming industry as a whole is not regulated enough, so I strive to not only provide your pup with a beautiful haircut, but to do so in a way that allows your pets to become happy and well-adjusted for the entire process. Caring for your dog's skin and coat goes deeper than a bath or trim, and I truly care about their emotional well-being. I have chosen to work from my home to be able to offer unique, one-on-one appointments. There, I can truly cater to your pets in a clean and quiet environment where they have my undivided attention.
